MEET THE COACHES
Kelly Alcock
I have been coaching netball for 16 years. I also played netball in both primary and high school, and was selected for the Westrand netball team for many years. I am a graded umpire and have written my beginner and level 1 coaching exam achieving 95%.
I have coached various age groups over the years, from u10 to 1st team in primary school and u18 in high school. I have a serious passion for netball and I love being a part of a players development and progression in the game.
I also enjoy the comradery between players and coaches and seeing the girls have fun on the court.
Menzi
Menzi is a sports data analyst/coder, and coach with 6+ years’ experience in player data analysis and coding, and 8+ years in Netball coaching.
As a player development coach, I focus on identifying and improving the small technical gaps in an athlete’s game.
By refining movement mechanics and deepening in-game understanding, helping athletes achieve more efficient performance and better results in sport and Netball movement.

I myself am still doing action netball on the weekends where I'm still learning new things. I've been involved in netball my whole life. It was a way for me to branch out and make new friends as well as learn new techniques after school.
Netball helps girls with their coordination, fitness, speed and agility. We are there for the girls to grow and develop their skills. Coaching is about unlocking people's potential to maximise their own performance. It is more often helping them to learn rather than teaching them.
